A standard tuning covers a piano already close to pitch. If the instrument has drifted more than a semitone, a pitch raise is an additional pass and is billed accordingly.
Minor in-home repairs are usually quoted per item after diagnosis. We give the number before we begin work.
Regulation and voicing are priced by hours on the bench because the scope varies enormously between a five-year-old upright and a seventy-year-old grand.
Full restoration is quoted as a written project with stages so owners can approve work in phases.
